Bi-directional hygiene lock for Barry Callebaut
Bi-directional hygiene lock was installed for Barry Callebaut Decorations by BOONS FIS to guarantee that 25 people could pass through the hygiene lock at the same time. The Barry Callebaut Group, the world’s leading cocoa and chocolate manufacturer, was approached by Barry Callebaut Decorations in the Netherlands after successful collaborations with the Belgian sites.
Bi-directional hygiene lock
A bi-directional lock was installed to accommodate both incoming and outgoing personnel. A large passageway was optimized, allowing up to 25 people to pass simultaneously with smooth flow ensured.
On the incoming side of this hygiene lock there is a DR sole cleaner, a WR6 hand-washing basin with sensor at knee height, soap dispensers and a HDK/XL hand disinfection station.
The outgoing side of the hygiene lock was assembled in the same way, but with an ordinary turnstile instead of a hand disinfection station.
The necessary stainless steel fencing for this project was also supplied by BOONS FIS and everything was installed and brought into use by our specialised technicians.
