Lantmännen Unibake needed hygienic acces, after the factory was burned and build in 2016 again. This company is Europe’s second largest bakery group. To provide the expertise centre for bread and baguettes of industrial hygiene and cleaning, they called in the knowledge and experience of BOONS FIS.
Different hygienic acces
There was joint consultation on the development of the hygienic access points that are all different with their own requirements.
Different hygiene locks were installed for access to production. These consisted of double hand soaping stations HDK/SF or HDK/SP with housing, a number of washbasins in different designs and hand disinfection stations HDK/VDF with housing.
Only one turnstile was chosen for the exit from the lock because the flow of people is further divided through the lock and a second one was not required to ensure smooth passage.
Universal dispensers were also supplied for hair nets, beard nets and earplugs. A standard DK turnstile was still used for leaving production.
Hygienic everywhere
The main entrance and exit from production was also fitted with a double sole cleaner fitted flush in the floor. When exiting, one can leave the lock through an ordinary turnstile.
Throughout the factory the toilets and sanitary spaces were also provided with a hygiene lock to be used before one could return to production.
Some ten hygiene walls were also installed in different departments, so one can wash the hands and clean the soles without having to leave production.
These hygiene walls consist of a stainless steel construction with washbasin, soap dispensers and paper dispensers, waste basket and sole cleaner. Hygiene can be guaranteed at all times thanks to these walls.
Complete cleaning unit
Finally, BOONS FIS also took responsibility for the rinsing space. A complete cleaning unit was supplied and installed for this space consisted of an eSPU-20/3 pressure-booster unit with piping, reels, selector satellites, hoses, guns and other accessories.
The high pressure pump and products are located in a separate closed off chemicals room specially for this purpose.
The accessories are located in the rinsing space, with the spaces being connected by dedicated piping. One can then clean everywhere with soap with or without foam, or with water with or without pressure.
