Modern central cleaning system for Dujardin Foods
Quality, service and deadline
The process of working together started with some consultation sessions. The requirements and expectations of Dujardin Foods were discussed and the possibilities were examined.
The three aspects most important to Dujardin Foods were quality, good service and completion of the work by a certain deadline. The required system could be developed based on these discussions.
Centralised cleaning system
At Dujardin Foods we have fitted a central cleaning system throughout the whole factory.
For this installation we used the eMPU pressure-booster unit and the CBU8-FFD chemicals dosing unit. The capacity of this installation had to be quite high because of the large number of simultaneous users.
As there is sufficient steam capacity, it was decided to use a heating system with steam injection. This ensures that there is always sufficient water at the right temperature, irrespective of consumption.
CS satellites, reels and more
Tens of branch points were installed throughout the factory, always with CS draw-off station. Quick switching with a simple button: foaming (acidic/alkaline), disinfecting, or rinsing at 40 bar.
All accessories were provided and installed by BOONS FIS:
- reels
- hoses
- guns
- couplings
- nozzles
- lances
- nozzle protectors
- etc
Some of these accessories are also available in a number of designs in line with the customer’s wishes. The stainless steel piping was also laid by BOONS FIS, we took responsibility for conveyor belt cleaning at the factory and we supplied a number of mobile cleaning units.
Complete hygiene locks
Since this first project, BOONS FIS has shared responsibility for quality and hygiene throughout the whole factory.
In so doing the whole process of personal hygiene was taken care of and optimised to meet the highest requirements regarding hygiene. Different hygiene locks were completely fitted out to make uncontrolled passage impossible.
For these hygiene locks use was made of a HDK hand chemicals turnstile, a WR2 hand-washing sink with tap sensor and console, universal soap and disinfection dispensers and paper tissue dispensers with waste basket. These locks were installed in different places at the factory.
The lock exit differs depending on specific requirements and the number of persons using the lock. It was decided to sometimes use a DR walk-through sole cleaner, another time a boot cleaner was the choice.
A variety of dispensers were also supplied and fitted, including glove and hairnet dispensers. Various boot dryers (with or without ozone function), storage racks and storage cupboards, coat hangers and benches were also subsequently installed.
In other words, BOONS FIS took responsibility for all the plant equipment.
