A modular system is a construction system in which different units can be connected to each other. At BOONS FIS we apply this system in our cleaning units with multi-stage centrifugal pumps.

These pump units are indeed designed in such a way that they can connect perfectly using flange joints. This means your capacity can be easily multiplied with a minimum of adaptations.

One can then initially choose between two modules: a module with a capacity of 280 l or a module with a capacity of 472 l. These units can be extended later to have an installation of a maximum of four modules.

The simple coupling of the systems has numerous advantages. The BOONS FIS team can then almost entirely prepare the unit internally, with only the actual coupling of the units taking place on-site at the customer. Neither are any extra provisions required because the units are coupled to each other. In other words, this method means very limited down time at the customer.

Another advantage of our modular systems is that as an organisation one can very simply anticipate future extensions. The control system for the units is already prepared for a possible extension so the customer is free to proceed with extensions at any time.

Finally, extending using a modular system also has advantageous as far as maintenance and spare parts are concerned.

Our modular units are available with or without break tank. A break tank ensures an interruption in the water mains network to prevent the backflow of water. Peak loads can also be accommodated with this system.

All break tanks from BOONS FIS are Belgaqua-approved. Our break tanks are also provided with all the necessary provisions to allow subsequent extensions.
