Thanet Earth
Thanet Earth is the largest and most technologically advanced greenhouse complex in the United Kingdom. The complex already had five greenhouses, and a sixth new greenhouse has just been added. They asked Royal Brinkman (NL) to draw up full advice on industrial hygiene at the complex. The measures currently differ for each greenhouse, but they want to switch to a general approach particularly for the tomato growers. Royal Brinkman and BOONS FIS have already been partners for years, and we together joined forced to get behind the project.
In the first instance two specialists from Royal Brinkman visited the site to assess the situation and offer initial advice. The findings were subsequently processed on the ground plans of the different companies in close consultation with Thanet Earth. The highest hygiene standards were always incorporated in all advice.
For the different greenhouses BOONS FIS supplied a number of hygiene stations, hand soaping stations, hand-washing sinks with sensor at knee height and hand disinfection stations. All equipment was installed and set by experienced technicians from BOONS FIS and Royal Brinkman. The necessary aftercare and maintenance is also taken care of. We are then always the guarantor for an optimally operating system.
